LEGO Ideas River Steamboat 21356 contains 4,090 pieces and recreates a classic paddle steamer adapted as an excursion boat. When the model is moved across a surface, the paddle wheel powers the steam-engine mechanism; the rudder can be controlled from the wheel on the bridge or from an external control. The wheelhouse, Texas deck and main deck are removable for access to the interiors. The model includes a crew cabin and bathroom, music stage, restaurant, kitchen and a museum dedicated to the steam engine with a working LEGO piston, aeolipile and Watt engine. It also allows the gangways to be raised and rotated and the anchor to be lowered. It measures approximately 40 cm high, 69 cm long and 15 cm wide.
