LEGO Creator Expert Sydney Opera House 10234 recreates the building designed by Jørn Utzon with 2,989 pieces. The model builds the large podiums, stairways and characteristic groups of curved roofs that form the silhouette of the Opera House beside the harbour. It uses a blue 48 x 48-stud base to represent the surrounding water and building techniques designed to achieve the sloping, overlapping roof forms. Once built, it measures approximately 28 cm high, 63 cm wide and 38 cm deep. The set was released in 2013.
